International Behavioural Public Policy Conference

The International Behavioural Public Policy Association provides an umbrella organisation for all those who are involved and/or interested in the growing multidisciplinary field of behavioural public policy. The Association aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge among those studying behavioural public policy across different fields and in different parts of the world via the annual conference and its partner journal, Behavioural Public Policy.

The annual conference aims to fill a gap by providing a forum for those interested in the link between behavioural science and public policy to discuss their work. Theoretical, methodological, conceptual, and applied work will be considered for oral presentation. Selected papers are likely to fall within the broad scope of the journal Behavioural Public Policy. They will in some sense consider both behavioural theory and public policy issues from a broad range of disciplinary perspectives. The authors of a selection of the best papers presented at the conference will be invited to have their work considered for a special issue of the journal. Beyond that, other journals publishing behavioural research have also been invited.

The 2nd Annual International Behavioural Public Policy Conference was held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 6th-8th September 2023. More information about the conference can be found here.

The 1st Annual International Behavioural Public Policy Conference was held at the LSE from 7th-10th September 2022.
